During the construction we already started building various structures for storing items. First we build a ceiling shelf out of repurposed wood. We made it so it could further highlight the shape of our roof, but also to hide our bed once we rise it to the ceiling.
Underneath our couch we wanted to install very large drawers to store the food that we preserve in our pressure canner. We also wanted six drawers in the kitchen area. We ended up having to much secondhand floor boards, so we decided these would be perfect to build the drawers. We bought drawer guides to easily open and close them.
