We insulated our walls with 14 cm of sheep wool. We used the brand Isolena because they don’t use any chemicals in processing the wool. The material can be easily ripped into the desired shape and length. Each roll has a width of 60 cm which is the same length as the distance between most beams within our walls and roof. We start from the bottom, unrolling the wool towards the top, while stapling it to the outer edges of the beams on the bottom, sides and top. This makes sure it doesn’t start sagging over time.
