Before we could insulate our wall we first had to install all of our electricity. For this we first pushed a long cable through an electrical conduit. We then drilled holes in all of the beams so we could pull this conduit throughout the walls of the house. We then drilled holes in every wall so we could install the sockets to the cable.
We bought air-tight sockets, but they ended up not being so air tight since the cable stretched the holes quite far, allowing air to get inside. We therefore decided to cover the socket on the inside of the wall with vapor-open fabric which we taped onto the ESB panels with Tescon Vana Tape.
