We stumbled on some medieval paintings in which a mobile bakery was depicted. This inspired us to build one ourselves which we later used for various projects in the city of Hasselt. The oven was build with loam (a mixture of 50/50 clay and sand) and then placed on top of a second hand horse carriage. We hope to use it in the future for neighborhood gatherings and bread baking workshops.
