Why do we keep celebrating independency while we have never been as dependent on each other as now?
Milan Gillard invited Elke Cuppens to give a lesson about ‘How can we live together’ in his house. Yes, this was a house, but also a classroom and a trailer and a room for residency and whatever you want it to be. They wanted to create a place for dialogue and discussion, but also a place where we could talk about our dependency on eachother. To trigger this conversation, they attached the hands of the participants to each other with ropes, so they needed to communicate to the other side of the table before they could eat.
Let’s celebrate our dependency!
