As an interior architect I’m fascinated by our spiritual relationship with water. Just like the Nomad City project, water is constantly in motion. In the last few years our water supply has been put under a lot of stress. With my installation I wanted to highlight the value that this water has, hoping to change the perspective of those who use it. How long do you have to wait before you have enough water to wash yourself? How will this influence your water usage? During my process I managed to incorporate two discarded trampolines into my design, resulting in a drop-like shape. The springs of the trampoline were used to guide the rainwater towards four points where the water was collected into containers. With this alternative water supply I want to incorporate a stronger connection between the natural bodies of water and our own human bodies.
