During The Shitty City Festival, Ateljee Symbio presented ‘Pee Urself - Indigo Children’, a performance in which they reacted to the negative connotations surrounding urine. In the past urine was used as a mordant for dyeing textiles. It was even sold per liter and collected at the doors. Today we look at it as something disgusting, a wasteful thing. With this performance they wanted to reintroduce this valuable natural resource in todays society.
