On the 26th of April we organized the panel discussion ‘Compost and Culture’ during The Shitty City. Speakers from the fields of Environment, Permaculture, and Visual Arts discussed the current challenges society faces and the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration for sustainable and communal living within our cities. For this talk we invited Nele Kelchtermans, Alderman for Culture and Climate, Derya Erdogan, Alderman for Nature, Parks and Poverty and Marc van Hummelen, expert on compost toilets and researcher of the Symbioceen.
